"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him." Colossians 1:15-16

Harper's Prayer Blog

This blog has been started as a prayer book for Harper Brown Stamps, born on January 16, 2009. Harper was born weighing 9 lbs and 12 oz, but immediately began having trouble breathing. Join us in praying for the healing of Harper's little body, for her parents Scott and Kelly, and for the doctors treating. Please feel free to leave your prayers and encouragement for her here. If you wish, leave your name, where you live, and a link to your blog.

Kelly and Scott,
Know that we are on our knees for you praying and pleading for the healing of your precious baby girl. I pray that this blog is a place of encouragement and hope for you - a place where you can come and draw strength knowing that our mighty and powerful God knows you, and knows your baby. He, and only He, is the miracle worker who formed Harper in your womb, and who created her for a special purpose. We, here in blog land, love you dearly and look forward to the day we see pictures on your blog of a bubbly little girl playing with Dawson!

Scott and Kelly,
"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit hemself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will." Romans 8:26-27
When I first heard of Harper's condition on Friday night this verse immediately came to mind. Of course, I prayed for her healing...and at that moment it was so overwhelming that I asked the Spirit to intercede for me, for Harper, and for both of you. When our heart aches so deeply and when we are overcome with such emotion....He goes to the Father with groans that we cannot express. And for that, we are so grateful. I truly believe that each and every person posting prayers for Harper will commit to pray for her EVERYDAY until the day she is at rest in your arms at her home in one of her monogrammed dresses.
In Him,

T-shirt info.

I just want everyone to know, in case you're wondering, I am NOT, in ANY way, receiving a profit from these t-shirts. The company that we are working with is donating $10 to Harper. It does cost them some money to make the shirts, therefore, that is where the other $10 is going. I know that some of you have felt that myself or Melissa are making a profit on these, but I can assure you that that is NOT the case. The only thing I'm receiving in return is the JOY that comes with doing something to help my dear friends ~ Kelly, Scott and sweet Harper. Please, if there are any more questions, just ask! :) Thank you, Jess :)

Sweet Harper

We have been praying for you, since the moment of your birth. Sweet girl, you keep fighting and feeling the love of this faith around you, as you tiny heart beings to heal.
Your family is truly amazing, and it is so evident by all how much you are so loved my little girl. We can hardly wait to see you in those tutus your mommy made for you.

We will continue to be here with, and for you.

Prayers from Baytown, Texas

Sweet, Precious Harper. I have followed your Mommy on her blog as she talked about her love for you, her love for Jesus, and watched her give hope to so many people through the power of prayer. Now it's our time to give you and your sweet Mommy and Daddy our prayers. We are all praying for you to get stronger and that God will give your Mommy and Daddy peace in knowing that so many people who don't even know you love you so much. You are a beautiful little girl. I have been blessed so much through your story. It has shown me that God's people are strong and that we must always trust in Him for all things. We have so much faith that God is taking care of you and that He will show us that with Him, all things are possible. Get stronger, sweet baby girl. We are awaiting the day that your Mommy gets to scoop you up and snuggle you in her arms. For now, I hope you can feel us all snuggling you with prayer.

We will continue to pray for you nonstop here in Baytown, Texas. God bless you!

Prayer and Faith

Kelly, I do not know you or your family however I have come to love you all as my family. I stummbled accross your blog several months ago and was so inspired by your faith that I added you to my favorites list and now I check your blog daily. I was so happy for you when you announced that you were pregnant. I sat at my computer and cried tears of joy for you...a complete stranger....that I have not even spoke to.... but it didn't matter...you are my sister in Christ and I was sooo happy for you. I prayed several times on Friday for Harpers birth. I did not get to check your blog again until today. I was so sad to see that little Harper is having a difficult time however I know that God is great and he knows what he is doing. We don't, but He does. You must pray and then let go, and let God. He knows what we can handle and will never put on us more than we can handle. Your faith and dedication to God during these past few days is so inspirational. I wish the best for you and your family. I will be following your updates as always. I may never meet you here on earth however I am sure to see you in heaven.

Dear God,
Please be with Harper and all those around her. Lift up their spirits, give them peace and comfort. Bless the doctors and nurses that tend to Harper. Give them guidance. Give them the knowledge to find the problem and ability to fix it. Give Harper the strength the endure all things. Wrap your arms around her and hold her tight until Kelly, Scott and others are able to do the same. If it be your will, make Harper another miracle in your many books of miracles. Please let the family and friends continue to look to you for support. You are an amazing God and I put my faith in you. In Jesus name....amen.

God Bless Harper

Kelly, Scott, Harper and Family~

Please know that you have so many people praying over you. I have every single day. Even though, I personally don't know anyone in the family, I have been reading Kelly's Korner. If anyone is deserving of this beautiful little baby, it is Kelly and Scott. I pray that everything will work out according to God's plan.

God Bless!

Love & Prayers from TX

Prayers from Baltimore

Dear Harper and Mommy and Daddy,

We have been lifting you up in prayer since we first heard about your rough entrance into the world from Angie Smith's blog. We have our own little miracle who was initially diagnosed in utero with a variety of problems which were "resolved" (healed) before he was born only to then have further issues which we were told were severe neurological deficits. He miraculously "turned the corner" on the second day and after a week in the NICU came home and grew into our procoscious and active 2 year old. The NICU is a scary place but full of amazing people. We pray that Harper would have her own miracle and healing and that God would continue to surround you with amazing support!!!

Praying in Little Rock

Scott and Kelly,

Our family is praying for each one of you and your special little girl. I asked my 7 year old son this morning to pray for Harper and Brayden when he said his morning prayers. He told me later that he did and later asked if it was okay to say another prayer for them. How incredible Jesus is to feel the heart of a child to pray for other children with all earnestness and faith. We continue to pray without ceasing for all of you and hope that you can feel covered in those prayers.

In His Love!

Special Little Girl

Little Miss Harper,

What a beautiful girl you are! You are such a little fighter! We cannot wait to see you in all of your little tutu's and monogrammed dresses. Harper, you are blessed beyond measure with a family with unwaivering faith in God and a following of people who are on bended knee for your health. You have brought so many people together in Jesus' name...you are one special little girl!

Lord, we just ask that you provide these Doctors with Your wisdom and that they may get Harper well, soon. We just ask in Your name, Lord, that you put your healing hand on Harper's precious body, and restore her body to health. We ask this in your name Heavenly Father. Amen.

God Bless,

Precious Jesus

Jesus,
I come to you acknowledging that you are the perfect God and you have all things under control. I ask that today you would heal little Harper's heart. Comfort Kelly and Scott and place your loving arms around them. You know how they have longed for this tiny baby for so many years and I ask that you heal her in only a way that You can do.
Amen

For that Harper-girl

Sweet Harper Brown, where do I begin? I think you are the one person in my life whom I have absolutely prayed for the most. From the time I "met" your sweet momma, I joined so many others in asking God to send your parents a the baby we knew they were meant to have. I recieved an email one day and my heart leapt! It was from your momma - she was pregnant with you! We all watched as you grew and grew and loved hearing all the details about you before you were born. We oohed and ahhed over your adorable nursery and logged in daily to check in on "our girls."

Then the day came and you were finally here! We were all anxiously waiting and waiting by the computer to see your sweet face. And when we heard you were having a hard time, we fell on our faces praying for you and your sweet parents and family. Little girl, you have had a rough go off it so far in your precious life - but I can tell you are one strong little sweetbabe, and you are going to be just fine. You are blessed with some of the most amazing parents out there, and you were created by the God of the Universe to be exactly who you are - and we know He is with you always. Now we pray for your complete healing and we thank God for the improvements you have already shown. We know He has great and mighty plans for you!

We love you and your family dearly, and we will continue to pray for each of ya'll without ceasing!!

Love you sweet girl,
Jenna in GA

Praying

Hi Kelly, Scott, Harper & family

Kelly, I read your story of how you fell pregnant ... such an awesome testimony ... you spent time focusing on God & Scott.
I want to encourage you to keep focusing on God during this "trial" ...
Your brother mentioned what a miracle Harper is, & how her healing will also be a miracle ... that is so exciting!

Father,
We declare that You are Jehovah Rapha - the Lord who heals - we thank You that Harper is healed. Your words says that by Jesus' stripes you are healed - so we declare that Harper is healed.
Father, thank you that the Stamps family will be able to hold Harper today. Thank You that the medical team working on her will see that Harper is responding positively to being "loved on".
We declare that Harper's
heart is established and steady (Ps 112:7).
I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.

In Christ

Scott, Kelly, Harper & Family,
We are still keeping you in our prayers. We pray for God to give you all strength & comfort throughout this journey. Rely on him, cast your worries upon him, & you will find faith you never knew you had at a time like this. It's an amazing thing to feel the comfort of God in your lowest hours. I believe Harper will be healed, all for the glory of God. Take care of yourselves, and thanks for taking the time to let us know how she is doing.....

Sweet Family

Know that my family is lifting each of you up - the medical team treating your precious little girl - and of course Harper herself. A few weeks ago I left this verse on the blog of someone who had a sick baby - I LOVE this verse -I hope it blesses you!

Matthew 18 verse 10 NIV

See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

May you feel His peace blanket your soul. Sunshine (Oklahoma)

Praying for Harper

I recently came across Kelly's blog the other day and have been checking several times a day for Harper updates.

Harper has an incredible family and in just one post you can tell she is loved and wanted beyond measure. That love, with all of your amazing faith will see her through. I pray for her healing and for your peace and endurance.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27
